Are you into skin dry brushing? Not yet? Don’t lose a minute! Once you try, you will never go back! But first, let me help you to choose the best skin brush. You will find below a review, learn about the benefits of skin brushing and find practical tips.
Remember the old wisdom “We are not so rich to buy cheap things?”
For sure, when it comes to our health and beauty, there is no substitute for quality. And this should be a rule no matter what we buy.
As for me, I made a lot of mistakes in choosing health products. I didn’t do my research, and I was not sure what I was buying.
As a result, tons of regrets, waste of money, time and efforts. That is why I became a ‘nosy’ customer. And that is why I am writing this review. It is about my experience with different dry brushes, which one is my favorite and why. Also, it is critical to know how to dry brush your skin for your health and beauty.
So, let me invite you on a fabulous journey of self-care with my best skin brush.
1. What Is Skin Dry Brushing?
But first, I want to share with you what skin brushing can do for you and why should you do it.
Well, skin dry brushing is an ancient luster self-treatment which stimulating and toning. But beauty is always about health.
Skin is a part of your natural body detox system and your largest eliminating organ. It “breathes” and eliminates toxins, impurities, and other waste.
Overall, skin dry brushing can benefit you in numerous ways:
- strengthens lymphatic system
- stimulates and detoxifies skin
- prevents pores from being clogged
- improve skin appearance and makes the skin look bright and even
- increase blood circulation
- stimulates the nervous system
- relieves stress and calms the mind
- wakes up all organs
- exfoliate and removes dead skin cells
- prevents premature aging
- reduces and prevents cellulite
- might help with ingrown hairs on legs
So, are you impressed?
I rest my case.
2. How to Choose Skin Dry Brush
Now, when we answer the question “why”, we should cover the issue “what”—what should you look for choosing the best skin brush.
Well, let’s discuss a few essentials. Shall we?
First, your brush should have natural(!) bristles only. You don’t want any synthetic material to touch your skin, do you? Never mind the potential allergy or skin reactions.
Second, a quality brush has bristles perfectly glued to the knot. This what makes a brush shed proof. But!
If you want your best skin brush without having to harm animals, stick with vegetable fiber. That is why I buy a brush with no boar bristles. My choice is a vegan alternative!
How about you?
Next critical point: as consumers, we all want safety, comfort and top performance of any product we buy. True?
And the beauty products are not an exception, especially when it comes to your health.
With skin brush—it is nice to have one which does not shed, easy to hold and doesn’t slip. Also, bristles should be of the right stiffness and length and made from natural materials with no chemicals.
For me—the price should be reasonable. Remember you get what you paid for?
Well, quality has its price. And rightly so! Therefore, if you want to have a quality experience, you should have quality tools.
Sounds fair, doesn’t it?
3. Your Best Skin Brush for Authentic Luxury
So, are you curious why I am so hang-go on finding the best skin brush?

5. Skin Dry Brushing How-To
Now it is about how-to.
Well, you should begin dry brushing with soles of your feet and work upward to your heart. It is how lymph travels through the lymph vessels heading to the final point of destination—the lymph duct near the heart. There, it reenters a circulatory system and the process begins again.
First, brush your legs and arms with long gentle strokes.
Second, chest, stomach, and back–in a circular clockwise motion always toward the center of your body. A very important point about the breast: brush gently following horizontal “8” pattern.
Next, when brushing arms, start with palms and move toward the heart.
Finally, use gentle pressure and don’t scrub. It will be enough to push your lymph fluids because they are close to the skin. The skin should be pink after dry brushing.
6. Tips: Care and Maintenance
Cleaning. You should clean your brush every week in warm soapy water to remove dead skin cells. Rinse well and air dry keeping brush face down.
NEVER(!) dry your brush in an upright position! Water near the bottom of bristles will destroy a glue and cause shedding.
New brush. Take a comb and gently run it through the bristles. This will remove any loose hairs if any.
Best place. Dry brush your skin only in the bathroom, otherwise “dead skin dust” will be all over.
Individual use only! Your skin dry brush is intended for your use only. Do not share your brush with anyone!
Skin conditions. DO NOT dry brush if you have a skin condition, damaged or extremely irritating skin or if you are prone to easy bleeding
After brushing. After skin brushing, take a contrast shower and apply your favorite body oil.
